Lulworth Cove to Worth Matravers

Rained during the night but yet again it stopped in time for us to set out about 7.15 am. It was a relentless amount of up and downs along the cliffs following the rugged and quite remote coastline with very few places to stop for a cup of tea 😊we managed to find the only place available at a little place called Kimmeridge . Then we pushed on in the sunshine over the steep tops and narrow paths winding our way through the Lulworth firing range , by sheer luck we timed it during school half term so there was no firing and it was open . Would have been a shame to miss this bit of the Dorset coast with its abandoned tanks etc. there was a major diversion further on though due to land slips so had to go inland to Kingston for a while . Two more days of walking to go😅
